Description
This is an older render I had floating in my runtime for a while.Basically, the idea behind this render is to leave it entirely up to the viewer to decide the story behind/situation going on in the pic.
If you'd like to share your idea, I'm all ears.

Awesome render!
Reminds of something I've wondered about on and off over the years: What happened to the Zelda from the original game during Zelda II's timeframe? It's canon that she's different from Sleeping Zelda, yet the old booklet story and timeline make no mention of her beyond the first game. It was probably done to avoid confusion - particularly if people didn't bother to read the backstory, but one has to wonder...

I wondered that, too. Back when pocket-arsenal had his "ask a classic zelda character" blog, I asked it, but he never answered it. I guess he couldn't come up with an answer that worked.

Huh, I guess so too. It'd make for an interesting fanfic, to say the least.
I re-read the NES games' timeline section of "Hyrule Historia" earlier, and it's ironic in hindsight. Ocarina Link had to sleep for seven years to grow up before he could take on Ganondorf, yet Zelda II is supposed to take place, and I quote, "Six years after the suppression of the Demon King", just after Link has turned sixteen. Which implies that he was a ten-year-old in the first game. Idiots.

Well, he was only 9 as a child in OoT. And 12 in Wind Waker.

Yeah, I know, and those were different Links regardless. That's my point, that Hyrule Historia claims he was only a pre-teen in the first game despite depictions (manual, etc.) showing otherwise.
