Description

Sasha has been brooding since losing in the finals of the JHP TV Tournament. What has gotten her goat even tighter is the fact that she lost to an opponent she considered a joke. Sasha has lost matches before, but this loss was harder to take. It was eating her up inside and she desired an immediate. This however would be impossible, until Ijeoma had her championship match for the Quiet Storm title.

Ijeoma would go on to unfortunately lose her title match, but in doing so endeared the audience to her, with her efforts to win and wow the crowds. In the meantime Sasha would face another nemesis in the form of DRAGONIQUE during an interpromotional event and lose. Sasha had taken another opponent lightly and now found herself relegated further down subsequent match cards. Her mission became rising to championship status again.

Having lost quite a few matches since losing to Ijeoma, Sasha would take to social media, feeling it would be a sad sight to challenge Ijeoma on TV with her current win/loss record. However, Ijeoma would treat this as sport and uses her leverage to annoy her “big sister”. Rather than reply to Sasha directly, Ije would instead post gifs and videos of her win during the tournament finals, highlighting the funnier moments and making jokes about the match. Sasha’s frustration began to resurface.

Sasha was still in management’s good books as she was still an attraction. She decides to try and receive her rematch through JHP’s match maker, but is turned down. JHP can’t have their own signed talent being shown up by a freelancer. They feel the chances of Sasha losing to Ijeoma in her current state is high. But, they would like her to team up with Ijeoma. They believe the pairing would warm some of Sasha’s neigh-sayers, who feel she is bland, up to her. Also “there is a mild resemblance between you and Ijeoma to act as a sister duo” the match maker cautiously remarks. Sasha’s eyes bulge as she holds in her rage, refusing the proposition. Her frustrations increase.

Meanwhile, Ijeoma is very much aware that Sasha wants a rematch. During post match interviews in the ring or in the back Ijeoma would mock Sasha. With the audience clearly enjoying the comedy Sasha felt forced to confront her antagonist face to face on TV and issue a stern challenge backstage. Ijeoma replies with a hearty laugh, even snorting a bit and refuses Sasha’s challenge. Despite not gaining the Quiet Storm belt, she still beat Sasha and Sasha has hardly won since. “You’re not eligible to face the great Ijeoma.” Sasha’s frustration intensifies.

The drama between Sasha and Ijeoma slowly escalates. Management realise this feud could make some quick money at JHW’s upcoming special and could leave more money to be made in future. Unfortunately Ijeoma has bookings in other promotions as she isn’t signed to JHW and is having fun dodging Sasha. Therefore JHW management give Ijeoma an opportunity. If she can defeat Sasha during the promotion’s upcoming special event, she will get a Joshi Hail Wrestling contract. Ijeoma accepts, but still finds ways to goof on Sasha to ramp up Sasha’s frustration.

During a small promotional press conference both Sasha and Ijeoma are present. A columnist asks Sasha about her thoughts on Ijeoma. As Sasha opens her mouth Ijeoma declares “nee-chan loves me!!”. As another reporter addresses Sasha for her thoughts on her previous loses Ijeoma cuts Sasha to mention “she has been mesmerised by my grandeur. My super booty tends to do that”. Another attempt to drown out Sasha’s answers to reporters is met with Sasha going silent and then displaying a smile that befits a demon. The atmosphere changes as the silence permeates louder than Ijeoma’s interruptions. The match is on and now everyone remembers the fear DeMONIQUE can generate. With that aura the demon leaves the scene.
