With barely the chance to focus on the situation as a whole, rather than the opponent, Shiina’s straight left cross catches him off guard and sends him to the canvas. In other venues the audience would laugh, but they’re not as surprised as Don is. They have seen this scene play out before with Shiina. Regardless, the floored fighter better get up before he’s finished within the first few seconds of the bout, as the school girl runs to hand in more damage.
