I bought new pens and worked good finally this time!
I think this one's better than other old my challenge.
Ninjara WAS Raphael's girlfriend, who once was living in Hiroshima, Japan. But they broke up in "Moon Eyes Saga". It was great story.

You know I liked the Moon Eyes story, but the covers for it confused the HELL out of me. It was like they did the covers far, far ahead of time and the artist was told they were doing an entirely different story than what was on the inside.

yearh, as you sad, their cover works were confused me alot too. it's like saying Ninjara would be crazy or forgot about Raph. 
the last scene, where Raph and Ninjara break, was kinda "matured" mental situation for me back then. I couldn't imagine such calm good byes.... especially for Raph. hihihi

A friend explained to me YEARS after the fact that the main reason behind their break-up was that her creators were leaving Archie comics and retained the rights to her character. They were going to produce a Ninjara series at a different company, but it fell through and was never published. Apparently that's why Ninjara never showed up in any of the other Ninja Turtles series, which is a shame because I think she rounded the group out nicely.

I do not like Ninjara actually (since she's from Archie, I have not had good experiences with that company), but you did her great justice Kat! This is top notch, really good work (better than the Archie's artists could make, I've seen some really horrible art from them). They should HIRE you I think. You're so much better.
Is she a fox or a wolf? Just wondering.
I might draw Ninjara just to make people happy (since they seem to like her), but do you have settei settings of her? I want to learn

Ninjara was a Japanese fox, so she had a different tail/markings than North American or European foxes traditionally have. I was a little confused when I first saw her myself over ten years ago, because of her very poofy tail and deep red color. She wasn't a mutant in the same sense as the Turtles because she was born from an entire race of fox people.

right, she was lived in Jpan, (I guess it was Hiroshima, right? it was where the atomic bomb striked in WWII. so..... I was so bit confused why they choosed such serious and delicate background in kid's comic.)
well... when I saw her tail first time, I thought she was a "tanuki" [link]
typical caartoons of "tanuki" has always stripes on its tail....
typical japanese fox has white topped ones I guess. [link]

This character looks familure. I had an old TMNT comic book years ago with this character in it, but it was more of a sci-fi story.

I actually own a comic that Ninjara is in. I think its called the Black Hole Trilogy or something like that, regardless, excellent work on the pic. Looks just like the comic!
