Yeah, this has been pissing me off for some time now, although the current writing team are bringing back the classic characters, the fans are whining because characters from the Barlow era of the show (Season 8-16) are now being ignored and are blaming it on the classic characters, if you are gonna blame anyone for lack of those characters, blame the writers, it is they who decide which characters that they want to use, and at the moment they want to use the Awdry characters and the ones they introduced, don't pin the blame on Duck, Oliver, Donald and Douglas, it just makes you sound ungrateful that show is no longer complete crap!

As for me, I used to like old HiT era characters, but when compare them to the ones introduced from King of the Railway onwards I don't really care anymore, as far as I'm concerned, they had potential that was wasted, if the writers are going to use characters from that era, they might as well just use the ones who are all ready rendered in CGI, because I doubt if they would want to use the ones who haven't

Sorry if I upset anyone who liked those characters with this, but seriously, this was really pissing me off and I just had to rant about it!
