A warm up drawing to get back in the groove after a weeks vacation at Disneyworld ;v;I got inspired to draw Brer Rabbit because I LOVE riding on Splash Mountain <3 x3
Wanted to draw some Zootopia fanart again as well. So here you have both together ^^

I've read the book of Bre Rabbit but never the saw the movie. I only know that they did air it again in the 80's in the theaters but it was the last time they aired it.

I've never watched Song of the South, but I have read a lot of Brer Rabbit stories from Enid Blyton. 8D Neat picture! I love Brer Rabbit's bright look, and Judy looks really pretty.
As for them getting along, if his cartoon counterpart is anything like the books I've read... they'd probably be chasing each other all over Zootopia. XDD

Oh my gosh my family was just talking about this while riding Splash Mountain the other day!!! (We're currently at Disney right now, going to leave soon though 
But anyway, we were riding Splash when my dad asked if Judy and Brer Rabbit would be friends and we all said they would. This is such a funny coincidence and is a very well done picture. Good job, and have fun at Disney!

BTW, it's interesting fact - that "Song of the South" is probably the most racist Walt Disney's animation and "Zootopia" is the most antiracist WD animation

Ive heard that story as well but doesnt seem THAT bad but I understand where you make the connection XD I've seen a few crossovers between the 2 films here and there. Mostly with Judy wearing Brer Rabbit's outfit. I've also seen a few crossovers with Robin Hood as well...which I might do nextΒ
