This pic is for the coloring contest being done bySo here is my submission - not too familiar with the cartoon, so I hope I did the "feel" of it justice...

I have seen all the entries (more or less), and this one is definitely my favourite. Buttercup's hair looks so awesome... I wish my hair looked that good.

GreatLP said he will consider a contest of a new design, since this one is just for colorists. BTW, I see you use to collaborate with other peep coloring their line arts... would you color somethin of mine? is there any specifications or requirements?

The only requirement is a hi-rez version(150 dpi or higher) of the pic and some time to get it done...lol
I'll look through your gallery when I have a chance and pick something, unless you have something in mind?

Yours is one of the best I've seen so far, so it's something to shoot for as I'm putting my name in the hat as well. I don't really know what the artist meant by the "feel" of the colors since his fabulous linework already exceeds the simplicity of the cartoon show, so I figure blue, pink, and green are the only criteria and I'll go to town with everything else. Nice use of complementary colors, and the hair texture is a great touch as well.

I love the girl's outfit on the right the most...great design, detail and color!! Just awesome! Then I like the girl's color in the middle..a bit more simple in design but still is greatly done!! and then I like the last girl..just the color isn't that appealing to me and the design is too simple! But over all, I really really love this colored, make the girls come to life! I will definitely fave this! Great work!

Hands-down your have the cleanest coloring style I've seen yet. You have a great knack for taking a good drawing and perfecting it enchancing the drawing instead of hidering it. I love the secondary underlighting you gave the figures... great touch. Fantastic!

seriously GreatLP has some of the best line art I have ever seen and you do him such great justice with this piece. Two massive creative sources come to gether and this is the product!.
