Description
This is my entry for the A-Pokemon-Journey contest, and this month's Pokemon is Charmeleon. I'll give 3 points to the first one who can read what it says on his hachimaki (headband).(The prize is still unclaimed, so keep researching!)
Hello Kitty is owned by Sanrio Company.

Yeah, that's basically it. It can also mean "Pass the Exam," and one might see students wearing it.

I sent the points a few hours ago, did you get them? If not, I'll try again.

It seems VERY similar to "Goukaku" which means success from my approximation here.

My friend; your offer for three points really is having me examine my kanji notebooks. Along with hiranga and katakana.
Because it's very symbolic I'm guessing it's traditional Chinese kanji commonly seen in Japan.
I'll keep guessing. ;D

Still fairly stuck.
Now I'm looking at images of other hachimaki to see if it can lead me closer.
