This scene takes place around eight years ago, when Roy and the other members of Team Quavers were hot on the Treasure Town mayor's heels. One of the wilder parts of their journey was when they had to take a wormhole to another part of the galaxy and obtain a certain material from a certain planet (as you can see, I've forgotten a lot of details over time). Lugia was a help to them, and he ultimately helped them all get back to the wormhole safely and back to earth before they would be consumed by a lava flood. They all rode on his back, but because of the angle I drew Lugia, characters on his back would've been invisible, so I drew Roy under his chest and hanging on with strong cords. I hadn't drawn Lugia since my first month on this account (Dec 2013), so it was interesting seeing how much better I could draw him this time.
