Description NOTE: This is NOT saying that you can attain salvation by means of suffering! You can visit my page and read the salvation message in the upper left side of it. This stamp is more about the proper attitude a Christian should have towards living in this world. Thank you.

Created on makeagif.com/

The "earth" template stamp was created by Rhabwar-Troll-stock

This is a stamp request from my friend, Raised--By--Wolves , who wanted this quote in a stamp.

"I'd rather suffer on earth and be eternally joyful in heaven than to be joyful on earth and suffer eternally in hell."

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" - Mark 8:36

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." - Romans 8:18

"According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." - Philippians 1:20-21

"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ," - Philippians 3:8

"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." - 2 Timothy 3:12

If you are not quite sure if you are saved, and want to know more about how to become saved, feel free to talk to me about it.

I don't want anyone to suffer eternally.

But I heard that rejecting Jesus' love is the way one can end up there.

In a sense, yes. Rejecting Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins unto the point of death will land someone in hell; but if you've already put your faith in and trusted what Jesus did on the cross as payment for your sins, then you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and cannot lose your salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14). It's not up to us to keep ourselves saved; God does it for us because we can't keep ourselves saved.

Indeed, people need to set their affections on things above, not of this world.

Aye, everything that we have here on Earth is temporary and should be viewed as secondary in regards to our Lord and his commands.

I'm sort of confused to be honest because you also have a stamp on your page that says, "Please keep your religion the h*** away from me," however, this stamp I made is definitely religious. I don't know if you're saying you agree with this stamp's message or not.

Erwin0859 In reply to TheBoldMouse [2015-12-07 07:05:15 +0000 UTC]

Well, it's true that I can be paradoxal, but I do believe what was written in one of Dr Michael Newton's book about souls and such stuff (so... nothing about religion ), so I see the Earth as "Hell" since every "bad soul" get born again (theorically of course, it's not 100% true, just an hypothesis from this guy/book) in order to suffer from what they did to the others in their previous life (it's an endless process, as you can imagine)so...

Although the words might not be the correct ones between what I believe and what's on your stamp, I did a link between both, hence why I'm using/used it :

Your vision : "I'd rather suffer on earth and be eternally joyful in heaven than to be joyful on earth and suffer eternally in hell."

Mine : "I would rather suffer on the Earth and pay back for my bad actions but then being eternal and joyful in Heaven, rather than being joyful on the Earth and to keep being born on it forever."

So, in order to clean this, I'll delete the two involved stamps from my page, maybe later I will use one of them again. Thank you

I don't believe in any god, though

I've never heard this view before. What's that book called? What is Dr. Michael Newton basing his belief on? Just curious. My belief is that hell is far, far worse than earth could ever become. It is also my belief that Jesus Christ paid for our bad actions (sins) on the cross. We don't have to pay for our sins ourselves if we trust what Christ did on the cross for our sins instead.

So, finally some time

www.amazon.fr/Souvenirs-lAu-De…
www.amazon.fr/Journ%C3%A9es-da…
Here in French, I also heard they're almost identical, aside from the title

ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I…
So that must be (one of) the English version

So, basically, it's tied about hypnosis, to heal wounds, if I'm not mistaken.
And somehow, he manages to talk to the souls directly, or by another way, he manages to see, or to get informations about previous lifes.
In the first link's description, there's an example about someone complaining of a pain on the right side. During the hypnosis, they found out this pain "comes" from WW1, as the patient (back then a soldier) got killed/deadly hurt by a bayonet... on the right side (and after this hypnosis, the pain went away).

Because I actually didn't read more than like one third, the rest (or some important elements) has been "taught" by my mother, who seems to be some kind of Christian (she does some prayers (involving some Catholic characters), at least, and I personally did a bit, in the past, but currently I still do some... but it's not tied to religion at all ).

Basically : in the "afterlife world" are living souls (obviously).
Each soul has a kind of guardian, who teaches them how to "improve" (like a guardian angel).
In this afterlife world, every soul who will be born again on the Earth knows what he or she will suffer from.
And they will also meet (in this same afterlife world), people who will play an important role in their life.
Example :  every victim from Paris' attacks have met in the afterlife world their killers. They were all aware that on Friday 13th, 2015, in Paris, at 21h30 or so, they would meet again and do their "destiny". After all, those who got killed at a café in 2015 were maybe some Résistance members who killed German soldiers/officers between 1939 and 1945, at a café.

However, once they are born on the Earth, they naturally don't remember anything from this afterlife world (because of the new, baby body).
From there, it will be so : every person on the Earth should suffer from what they made somebody else suffering from.
Example : Person 1 was a mean parent and maltreated his/her child (Person 2) until he/she died. When Person 1 will be born again, still on the Earth, she will suffer like Person 2, thanks to Person 3, who will suffer from the same fate. You surely noticied it, this logic implies that the Earth will ever remain a "trash", since it's making an infinite loop. However, I wonder if enough personal development can weaken this infinite loop... Anyway.

During the life on the Earth, the guardian angel is trying to communicate with the person, surely to tell him or her what to do and what to don't do, why he/she is here, etc. Does the imaginary friend/OC concept can be linked to this guardian angel ? I guess it will depend of the persons.

----------
So... here's a kind of resume, I'm sorry if it's hard to understand

For me, it sounds "logical", in a way, to suffer from our bad actions, in order to "pay" for them.
However, of course it's maybe not the truth.
That's what makes religions so interesting, there are ever different views and opinions about the same thing (and I kinda like the logic of someone's sacrifice so we shall follow this someone in order to pay for our sins, to be honest)

Even if this belief implies that the Earth is a "trash" (so it brings a kinda pessimistic view about it), it shouldn't be considered, as I said, as the way to follow.

After all, Something or Someone gave us the ability to think, so why should we waste this ability, right ?
We're free to think (but not to impose), that's what makes everyone of us different and interesting in their own way.
That's what makes us humans, no matter how good or bad we are.

We started from the same basis. Everyone should find and follow their way. Their meaning of the Life.
