Description
So, I was advised by my friend, NugatorySheep to start drawing some realism to improve my work. I started off with something simple, and what's simpler than a rabbit? Since this style is still so foreign to me, I have no idea what I did right or wrong, so I am open to criticism for this attempt. This was also done entirely with pencil.This is the image I referenced (HEAVILY):

Not bad for your first attempt! I can hardly draw realistic animals, so I admire your willingness to tackle the challenge. I like the eyes and the ears the most.

I agree with Showlover for the most part, and it's a small mistake, so this is great for a first attempt!
Only advice I can give is to not worry about drawing every strand of fur unless you feel it's necessary. (Of course the pic you referenced did show all the strands, but I just wanted to say it isn't always needed!)

I figure that since it's realism, that detail must be important, so I wanted to make the fur look close enough. Perhaps what I can do next time is when I draw from a picture, I'll upload it to the computer and put it conjunct with the reference so I can do a side-by-side comparison with it. I didn't do that with the rabbit, so I didn't notice the problem with the cheek. Thank you though

that is pretty good and very cute!
I think something you could work on is how fur is done, though, i'm also not the best at super realistic things either.. xD
All in all though, it is a seriously good rabbit!Β Β Β

Thank you ^^ Yeah, I'd say the fur looks a bit inconsistent in some parts, and the shading doesn't match the ref perfectly, but I suppose it's not too bad for a first attempt
