I had sketched this this past summer, put it away, then decided to finish it this weekend. The coloring was the hardest. Not exactly what I envisioned, but still.Princess Iraleece, a character in a play that exists in the universe of the Peddler. As is probably obvious to any of you who've seen it, this is a lot based on the cover of Waking Rose [link] . The play combines some stuff from Sleeping Beauty and some other fairy tales, and is kind of the story that I, having seen the covers of the Fairy Tale Novels for years without having read them, thought they were like.

First, I love how her hair is spread across the ground. The autumn color scheme looks really cool with the white of her dress, too.
The way that dress drapes around her and the table. It really looks heavy and yet very soft. Her face is also very beautiful. Her nose, her eye lashes, and her lips are so symmetrical and the angle of her head makes it even more impressive.
Oh, it's so cool that someone else thought of fairy tales that way! It's so neat the ideas you can get about a story when you yourself have never read it. I think it gives your imagination a good spark.

Yeah it's weird, isn't it? XD Alot of my stories are based on ideas of what I thought something was like before I knew much about it.
