My latest creation. MechaGodzilla kiryu costume.it stands at 7 foot 2 inches. still some modifications to be done.
the mouth closes and opens with a chin mechanism. fully chromed. haha.
one hell of a costume.
the long tail cant be seen in the pic.

I see you made your WarMAchine from rubber sheet material. Is Mecha Godzilla made from hard plastic or rubber sheets?

made of rubber sheets. ^_^ it's the main material we have here for crafting almost everything.

Wow, that's amazing. What did you cover the sheeting material with to be so smooth? OR was the rubber sheet smooth to begin with?

yep the rubber sheet was smooth to begin with but it was porous. It had to be primed with acrylic emulsion which, if properly painted on, will give a smooth shiny surface. Afterwards,i just used the chrome spray paint which is just oh so perfect for metallic objects.

Not sure what Acrylic Emulsion is, but it sounds like a surface prepping liquid of some sort. Thanks for the insight.

hahaha. i brought this one out 6 more times after cosplay fusion. you'll just see it during the catwalk though. i never drag it around for photo ops. its very difficult to carry it around a crowded convention area. hehe. XD
