Sounds intriguing and dramatic. Good job with hooking the reader. Nice panelling.

There are times where I feel I'm just dragging through the mud when doing this, it's a learning stage given the script has to fit and tell a story, but I did set out two aims.

Each page tells or builds towards a greater story (I try to avoid padding because it's just consuming work, this will take me almost 11 years as it stands) So if I can, avoid "waste" whenever I can. But we'll see who's there at the end if I get there!

And World building. While that means contradicting with what I wrote above I like to pull people who know the game this is based on or just new. Plus it helps me find my own footing on this. I do try to keep this to six-8 frames at most this was advice given to me when researching because it gets more difficult to cram in the preferred quality of detail.

Eleven years is a long time and also hard to keep a style consistent. I know what you mean about dragging through the mud. I have an old web comic I started in 2008 (The Age of Cocoa). I haven't worked on it in a long time because updating to Windows 10 caused my CS5 software to become glitchy. I'd need to subscribe to Adobe's Indesign and Photoshop to finish it (I used Indesign to lay out the text and sound effects). It would take another 300 hours of work to finish (pages 53-72 have scene summaries and some of them have actual scripts but I haven't drawn anything for those pages) and I'm not sure I'll ever pick it up again because the comic hardly got any views or favs. Sometimes it floats into my head that I should finish it...

I can relate to ideas that flash in the head or prompts reminding me I left such a thing in a dark, problem is where it's left is halfway to the mountain top and make the effort to get upto to it, be update and carry on. I am thinking of saving up and giving someone sketches and a script of a chapter and have them work on it, therefore saving me some time, we'll see how that goes.

I do have someone who done some inital designs of clothing and backgrounds, saving me sometime and I have someone doing a side comic, based on the propaganda series that was on the start of comic so as to keep a line of interest.

Other then that I can't deny this will take me friggin forever, there is one comic that might interest you, it's called xcom deep rising based on the orignal game from '94. It's almost unqiue in it's own right due to the integration of audio, made by a very talented team.

I'll have a look at your old comic when i get the chance.

It will probably feel amazing when you finally finish though. Keep going.
That's a good time saver to have someone else do the rough sketches. I remember sketching out the headquarters of my villain and it just wasn't my area of expertise. I should have hired someone. It turned out okay with my design but nothing spectacular.

Thanks for the link. I'll take a look at the xcom deep rising.  ^_^
