Description
This is the first full on painting I have completed on medium other than a person in a few years. It is a cabinet door for the Velvet Monkey Salons in Oklahoma City, OK.I opted for a butterfly with some abstract, greens and such and the strange heart design to give it an emotional depth of sorts. My goal is that everyone who views this will get something different from it.

okay then, just one question, what's with the sudden difference in art? usually you stick to one, did you suddenly get some more time on your hands? if you did then i'm going to be soooo jealous of you XD
As for the work, it looks really good, quite beautiful in fact, i can clearly see the butterfly and the heart but im not quite sure what to make of the rest, possibly some kind of abstract plant? Anywho this looks good, you said it was going to be a design for a door?

That's really cool! I see the butterfly but at the same time it's kind of fractal-like too. Nicely done
