I'm actually quite stunned-- the overall drawing is amazing. Like someone else said, you really brought the picture to life with those little details-- and yes, Xan does look quite menacing. I can almost hear the crackling flames behind his manic laughter.

Wow, this is wonderful! I've never seen Xan look so deadly anywhere. Even though there's nothing burning in the background he really does come across as menacing. Maybe he's practicing his insane laugh? Either way, the skull is really well done.
The background is ... wow. The wood beams, the furnace thing at Lim's and the Guardian Tower in the distance- the little details are so unique and bring Falconreach to life. And Twilly just standing there makes me giggle for some odd reason.
The sky being blue does seem rather dull. Maybe it should have been a more purple-ish colour? That would have made the yellow in the flames around the skull stand out a bit more.
Anyway awesome job!

Thanks much, and yeah Im not really a fan of my coloring. I much prefer my black and white versions. Most of the pics on here in color are me trying to get better. Thanks for the kind words tho!

Great job, but instead of a blue background I think you should have added like a fiery glow with like the hill and the guardian tower black against the bg. Xan contrasts the blue too much, imo :/'

I kind of wanted the contrast to help with the glow of his head, if the background had the same effect his head wouldnt pop, I really do dislike coloring tho. I always like my BnW more.
