This took forever.
And I still couldn't get the paint palette to look right..

Seriously, very well done picture here! I know it's going to sound perverted, but I love how soft her skin looks. Fine work on the eyes and hair as well.
The palette, though, looks a bit rushed and simplistic compared to the rest of the drawing. Sure, the paints would be messed up, but there'd still be distinct colours, as well as a bit more mass and volume. It looks like she barely put any on, and is almost empty.
I was about to comment on Strago's face not meshing with the scene, but then I forget she's painting him, so of course it'd look a bit different.

I know the palette didn't turn out as good as the rest. :\ I kept working with it and having people try to help me with it, but after many failed attempts, I just gave up and left it as is. After so much time, I usually do that and just move on to something new so I don't fixate on something so much it drives me nuts. XD And that was starting to drive me nuts...

It's absolutely fantastic pic! The soft colors and shadings look really pretty, and Relm's pose is nice. You've done great job with all the details here too, especially with Relm's hair and the woody-details on the... easel? (I do not know if that's the right word, but I'm meaning this thing where people usually keeps their paintings while they're painting

I did her eyes by abusing dodge tool. XD For her hair, for once, I refrained from abusing dodge tool. I used it somewhat sparingly compared to how I usually do it.

lol Yeah.. I'm kind of addicted to the dodge tool myself.. that and the burn tool. heh. And in Painter X I'm soooo addicted to the "just add water tool" - it's a funny name but if you ever use it you'll probably get addicted too. lol
