Description
During a little more half of the flights duration from Oakland to Seattle, I decided to do a little picture using #SketchBook on my #galaxynote4 .The result was #Saitama of Manga #OnepunchMan by #ONE & #YusukeMurata
Fun times.
Having been a fan of the Manga (and Original webmanga) for years, it's nice to see an anime was made of it.

Yeah but know this, at his full strength, saitama can throw a punch so hard that it destroys half of the universe. Why only half? Because he can only face one direction at a time.

it's something the creators said, but it really doesn't matter now. Saitama will always win because that is how he is writen. He has no real weakness and all of his fights end with one punch. He is made to be this OP monster who is tired of being OP. He wants a challenge, and the only being wothy of a challenge where he can go all out is someone like himself. Goku needs to constantly train in order to push his boundries, and superman's powers stem from the sun, which can deplete if overtaxed. But saitama has no such restrictions, his strength, which is truley limitless, needs no form of extra training or powersource to access and he can always control just how much efforet he puts into it. His only limit is his own state of mind, which barely count because even at his laziest state, he can literally swat away monsters into chunks.Β
But it doesn't really matter because nothing is ment to be a challenge to saitama, that's how he is writen. He is supposed to be Overpowered to show the pointlessness and boredom that true infinate strength can hold. One Punch man isn't like DBZ or Superman because it's not so action oriented. Goku is good because he is always at odds with a character of equal strength of even stronger, but stil comes out on top due to his tenacity and will power. And Superman is good because while he is potentially limitless, he still does have to work to control his powers, and even then, their are still beings that are equal to him in power that won't be taken out easily. And there is also kryptonite to break his invincible mold. But One Punch Man is a more of a slice of life than an action anime. It answers the question: What would happen if a man gained omnipotence.

I cant think of one from the top of my head sorty.:/,i would still recommend watching the Show atleast until ep. 3. You will like the Show if you like anime that are over-the-top and doesnt take itself to seriously.
