Description
Full-Colour commission for of his original characters.Based on a written description, I did my best to depict the piece.
Had fun w/ this one.
funny that even though i was looking @ lots of sunrises to get the sky looking proper, it kinda looks like a sunset.

Fantastic composition and use of colour--I love how sweeping and large and active it feels, very cinematic. The out-of-focus grasses in the foreground add very nicely to this effect, and I'm completely impressed by the metal man--good art and designs of mechanical person-shaped things is so difficult, and this makes it looks so natural.
The only part I take issue with is in the eyes of the two kids. Either eye, on each kid, would be fine if its partner was slightly different, but they don't quite fit together. Kind of adds a skewed feeling to their faces.
Overall, just lovely!
