Description
Full-Colour commission for of his original characters.Based on a written description, I did my best to depict the piece.
Had fun w/ this one.
funny that even though i was looking @ lots of sunrises to get the sky looking proper, it kinda looks like a sunset.

Wow! This is one of the best composed pieces I've seen in a while. The angles, poses, and colors just give it a sense of adventure! The only problem is that the faces are a bit skewed in places, but it doesn't bother me much.

Coming from the Florida, I can say you are correct. Sunrises and sunsets look a lot alike. This is one of the few places in the world where you can view a sunrise over a large body of water, drive a few hours and see the sunset that afternoon over a large body of water

I think it's the strong orangey light hitting them that makes it seem more like a sunset, if it were paler maybe bluish light I think it'd look more like a cool morning.

I think the fact that it could either be a sunrise or a sunset adds to the piece.

Sunrises tend to have more white-light while sunsets have more golden-light or yellow-light. Just a thought ^^ IT LOOKS AMAZING!
