YEPPERSthese are the last 3 pages of Syke's 2nd battle over at Void against the highly talented and her character NEX.
t'was a tuff battle for many reasons.
1) my Opponent was Del, and she's one wicked artist and storyteller [humour up the wahzoo]
2) i had 4 days to do this battle [time remaining left from the actual 4 week time restriction. i started only after i finished work which took 1st priority]
3) i wantd to make the quality of the pages pro lookin'
4) i had another battle to draw up due on teh same day this was due.
so yeh..
story began as an overview of what's happened to Syke over the past few months or so.. i guess..

god, im getting high off this crap. the poses are freaking crazy. like when hes running out of the store, and of course the zombie parade is freaking amazing. the color choice is top notch also. like it changes from the caustic florescent light of the store to the orange glow of the city. and it actually fades in that fourth frame. its also a funny story. fav and now i gotta go do a comic too.

You know I always enjoy your pose and foreshortenings - kudos on that.
If I can suggest anything I guess you could experiment on having various shapes for your panels so they enhance the dynamic postures of your characters.

Void really does seem to bring out the best in people. This is some awesome work you've put together here. Great storytelling, the dialogue, everything. I also like how it's not really a physical fight, but still a conflict. Exceptional.
