did this image for [what i'm told] promotional purposes.these may not be the actual looks for the characters, but i'm thinking they would be.
This is a Mini-series i'll be doing for BlueWaterProd/Ray Harryhausen presents after i finish [need to begin 1st] that Razor Kid issue for Ronin Studios.
anyway i think this is to 'hype up' the book or something..
alls i kno is that i'm hyped to do this book.. heh

you know... i'm not sure i'm into the whole sinbad/sci-fi thing... but i like your portrayal of sinbad. i believe his character wasn't suppose to be all excessively muscular like most portray him. in the original stories, he would sometimes mention himself as being skinny and sickly for lack of food. while that would be true for lack of food, if he was muscular, he wouldn't look sickly and skinny so much i'm sure.

Buenos dias, this be Cappy: Patron Saint of letting special artists like you know they rock! I gotta say, you've got some major talent. To describe your style, I'd say that it's like a mix of anime and American comic style...and then anime had an affair with awesomeness. Anime is such a hussy, but I think we can forgive her because it produced this. It's hard to produce the cool factor, but your drawings just ooze it. The anatomy is cool and looks like it works, your coloring is cool and reminds me of cel-shading. There's definitely something in your work, and I suspect you'll have a bright future ahead of you in the world of art. Take care and keep on rockin' my fellow art buddy!

actually one on my main influences are animated motion pictures... such that of disney and don bluth etc..
also european comics.. which ina sense is already a mix of japanese and american

Holy crap, it most certainly got me all excited and I was a bit dissappointed when I read the description and learned that the comic can't be seen anywhere yet. 
I really enjoy this piece, the circling composition is interesting and the lightning is just plain awesome. Your style is also sweet; it has this traditional, dynamic American comic feel to it, but is much more lively and diverse than the styles of most comic artists I've seen. It looks like you put your thought into it and know what you're doing. Quite rare to see and really fun to watch.
Gonna look forward to the book!

I am amazed! What a concept!
And, in ancient days Mars did have (likely) vast oceans. Just that it being a small planet, its internal core stopped spinning and therefore it lost its magnetic charge early on while planets like earth will last till the sun goes red and Jupiter's core will probably last till the heat death of the universe. Over aeons, the atmosphere was blown into space and the water evaporated. Still, there's enough water likely left to give it an ocean again if an atmosphere could be re-established.
