Bah.. I was bored so I thought I'd give a shot at something more realistic... it will probably be scrapped later XPShan: I look older, you drew me all wrong. Look at the way my top lip blends into the rest of the skin.
OH, shut up, you...
Shan: T_T meanie..
All highlights done using the dodge tool. Shades in the hair done using the burn tool. Skin done with soft brushes, blah blah blah..
Shan belongs to me .. yeah... XP and I have no idea what category this belongs in..
Edit: Some of you wanted a bigger version, so yeah... I don't know why, it still looks just as.. "bleh".. even if I DID fix some minor details...

beautiful, specially that purple eye, and the lighting on it. i guess that when doing the hair you could try not to cross the lines, when making the lighting, i think it kinda gets down a bit of the reflex effect.

*screams* Ahh!! Sorry...still have to adjust to the whole left grey-eye thing. Kinda creepy if I stare at it too long in this picture. D: Sorry, just thought I'd say that. But not in a way that she is ugly or anything. Just that I imagine that if you could make this in a horror theme, it would look reaally scary. XP
And I seriously think that you're very good at making her in a realistic form. Its very beautiful in a way. Her hair is still my favorite part of her and I like her right eye and I think her nose is cute. X3 I wish I have her lips...><
Why won't you make it bigger??? ='( I still wanna see more of her beauty. ;D And I agree that she does look more older in this form. But she also look more wise and intelligent here. Thats a good thing.

I think you did quite a great job with "realisticizing" Shan 
My point is I don't think she looks that older after you transform her into a more realistic look.
Her haircut looks a bit different here, but she's still beautiful in my opinion, especially her eyes

Oh yeah, outline-less drawings are kind of hard I guess, but it's good for realistic.

Well, you may not need to do a realistic style drawing but still using the outline-less coloring in some new drawings? Test it first to see if it looks nice. You may also use, again, the colored outlines, but this time a lighter color to match, for example, the skin color more in order to blend it.
Test out! With your current skills, you are great enough to test many things X3!
