I may not have made as dramatic of an improvement from last year, but I really developed my styles throughout this year. I'm not really sure if I was ever aiming for "realistic", but perhaps a more painterly-comic-semirealistic style. This year I really began understanding what I wanted and understanding how to get there, however, I still have quite the journey ahead of me.Happy New Year everyone and good luck!

I absolutely love this! I hope to improve in this next year... I had started too last year and then stopped drawing again (often times just taking the easy way out and claiming I had no time). So far I've drawn something every single day and that is my goal for 2018! (Not all but things mostly headshots and stuff)

For me, I always struggle to get enough time to draw and my way of working around that typically results in replacing my sleep time with drawing time. If I don't draw I get super stressed and frustrated :'D Last year I mostly worked on limiting my amount of drawing to once a day because it would get in the way of my studies hahah but now I manage to squeeze it in when I can although it's getting tougher with this workload O-O
but I really love doing headshots XD they're the most fun hahaha
