More designs from the poll, this time from the deep-sea theme.
Decided to keep going for mythical beasts and ended up with a deep-sea leviathan, or if you'd rather you can imagine this thing flying through the sky as well by using a primitive lung to breathe and pulsing air through its gigantic siphon to propel itself through the air! The siphon's use is for propulsion(like a squid) and for feeding by straining microorganisms from the ocean waters. The fins on its neck and body are used to change the direction it is swimming. While the siphon is usually only kept open just a tad to move forward(top image), when this leviathan wants to feed it opens itself up all the way and gulps up whatever swims into it. It has adapted a unique swimming pattern that uses the tip of its tail as 'bait' for larger predators, which it then loops back around on itself to swallow whole.
