you took the shot just at the right time, a sec before or after and it wouldn't have been as awesome.

Hope that guy's got a parachute, because that horse looks like he's sending him up into the stratosphere.

This photo is great. Not only do you capture a lifestyle in one flash second, you also captured it beautifully. It's so hard to get this kind of shot without it blurring like mad or looking like crap. Much kudos, mate.

Incredible shot, I love how focused it is yet still clearly fast motion. I really wouldn't like to be there myself though :3 did you not get knocked, bumped, pushed or trampled? @_@

Amazing shot....I like the lines in this image. And as already been mentioned, the fact that the faces (both rider and horse) cannot be seen. Now I'm wondering what happened to the rider next. An absolute 'exclamation mark'!
Congrats on your DD. A worthy image, definitely.

This is outstanding. So good angle and action going on from the beholder.
The comparison is great. I love a photographer who goes after the shots .

Haha, I like to be close to the action too... only I'm the one riding most the time. X3
This really gets the horse's point across... If I want you off, your off.
/= people seem to think all horses are for 5 year olds.
Amazing shot I love it. <3

Honestly this is one of the most amazing (and lucky) photographs I have ever seen on DA- and I've been on this site for four years.
Great composition, it makes you so curious to imagine the terrified expression on the riders face! And you can only hope that his right foot didn't stay trapped in the stirup.
