Description
My Sith Costume I made back in Summer! Right after I finished a summer class. I knew I wouldn't have time to work on it during the Fall semester. I just had way too much sewing homework. Flat Pattern Making, and Tailoring were a lot of work. Especially Tailoring! So much tedious hand sewing on a coat. And It's all on the inside of the lining, so you'll never see it... It was a lot more work than it may sound. But anyway, thats why I didn't get around to taking pictures of it till recently, and because I didn't actually make my Tabards (The things on my shoulders) out of "Faux Leather" the first time. I just used the same fabric as my Tunic, (and it just didn't have enough contrast) because stinkin' Joann's Fabric doesn't carry any *good* Faux Leather for clothing. At least I couldn't find it. So, a few weeks before the Star Wars Premiere (Because of course I wore this to opening night) I decided to order some Pleather online, and sketch out my own pattern for the tabards, because the one that came with the pattern was ugly. Anyway, I'm so happy to finally have these up! Also, I'm kind of happy I waited to take pictures, because blue/teal hair looks so much better with this costume than blonde would have. Also, the picture of me with my hair down and no lipstick (I didn't have the purple color at the time) isn't my favorite photo of me. But you get a good look at the whole costume. And it was obviously taken on a different day than all the others. I did it fairly early in the morning one day before I had to leave somewhere. So, that set of pictures were definitely rushed (thats why I only posted one from that photoshoot).
