OH MY GOSH. Within the past 24 hours I've literally gotten 11 gems, 7 of which were from Derpy!! I'm seeing her almost constantly now! The other 4 were from 1 parasprite group, 2 level ups, and - believe it or not - the honesty harmony stone. Today is my lucky day!! I think you get gems and shards and see Derpy more often as you level up...

Well she is a NPC who is just in a random spot under a box... However her eyes are normal and not the "derp" like we are use to... You can't use her or she doesn't show up in the book...
