And at last I have finally drawn a picture from Shadow of the Colossus
I finished the game 2-3 weeks ago, but there was some other drawings I wanted to finish first so there was no time to draw this until just recently.If I had to pick my favourite moment from SotC, it's gotta be this. How often do you run on top of a colossus in mid-air with epic music playing in the backround?
And the last thing I wanted to mention: I have finally found a new picture editing software called GIMP (you have probably already heard of it), I didn't know it was free so I never tried GIMP until yesterday, and god it is so much better than using microsoft paint!!! xD

This has always been my favourite bit of Shadow of the Colossus too, I remember being blown away by this when I got it on the day it came out. Possibly my best gaming memory. I love the sparks and depth of field here, it really captures the mood of the 5th colossus encounter.

Agree! I was so frustrated when I first took on the second colossus, I somehow had a lot of bad luck and fell off him when I took out the first of two symbols, and back then I didn't know I had to have my sword equipped in order to see the symbols. So when I came back I thought the second one had dissapeared by a glitch. When I then realized what I had to do, I fell off for the second time, so it took me about 40 minutes to finish him...
...and that same song repeating in the backround for 40 minutes didn't make things much better at all! It was epic for the first ten minutes, but then it just became extremely annoying having to hear that same tune over and over again.

aww stupid frustration, every gamer could tell ya books about it D: like in the Zelda games when you´re missing a small detail and can´t figure out where to continue and search for hours only to realize it was actually quite easy XD but yeah if i´m stuck in a game i pin down every single pixle and look for a hint till i realize there´s like a big red lamp flaring somewhere haha
if the music wouldn´t repeat that much but instead play another score it´d make things better, even the most epic music gets worn out over time
