Original Characters; but not mine! This eclectic cast of characters belongs to the inimitable Actionhero, a.k.a. Johnny Chinaman, and I'm simply flattered he let me use them. Steal from me, and you steal from him. Steal from HIM, and he'll TEAR YOUR SOUL APART. Made with pencils, Sharpie, and lots of Microsoft Paint. And a fair bit of Google searching.

Cast: From left to right, this rogues' gallery includes Bastian Malfoy (that dastardly Slytherin who's just found himself on the business end of an unusually large handgun), Suki (Japanese It-Girl and ubiquitous Girl of Mystery), and - of course - the hardboiled, longcoated, Asian-sensation and Pimp of the Nation - Actionhero himself.

This was drawn as a companion piece to a particularly dramatic conclusion from one of the Actionhero's flights of fanciful imagination - and he was, very kindly, willing to indulge me and let me draw him a massive splash page, where the blond man on the left becomes freshly ventilated, and the Actionhero comes back from the dead.

The gun in Actionhero's left hand also marks the ONLY time I've ever been able to draw a gun and have it come out right. I could weep with joy. Just don't look at the gun in his other hand. (I said DON'T LOOK AT IT!)

And look at Bastian's head! Speed lines! Ha ha!

I'm not entirely displeased with this one. Microsoft Paint gets easier, I feel, the more one squints and curses and beats it.
