Oh dear! Did the Naruto ch700 leave me with a lot of feels.Feels I was not prepared to have.
All those Naruhina feels I thought I had control over, broke free and once again I can't function as a proper human being, I'm a horrible waste of life.
I'm such a shipper slut fangirl.
Naruto having a family *sob* is just beautiful *ugly crying*
I can't stop drawing Daddy Naruto, it's the best thing ever.
I can just imagen him getting all emotional and happy seeing his family everyday, that lonely boy is now only a memory, you've grown to become a fine man, Naruto.

At first I expected Naruto to have a rather... lame ending. Something like ''We won the fight but the battle has only begun but with the power of love and friendship we will stand strong'' then a full spread page featuring all the Naruto character left alive running into the sunset, the end.
So I was genuin surprised at how it ended, spoilers ahed, read at your own risk...though the fanart is already a big spoiler either way if you haven't read the ending....

The first thing that surprised me, Naruto the ending, actually had a closure.
Like everyone got married, started their own family and everybody is happy.
Naruto got his dream of becoming the hokage and getting everyone acceptance/acknowledgment plus a lovely wife, Hinata and two adorable children. Bolt the amazing super dog and Himawari.
Sasuke stops being emo...I think, and makes a salad with Sakura.
Sure, many fans were/are pissed at the end, but I'm just happy it didn't end the way I predicted.
I'm also keeping my head out of the shipping war going on on tumblr, though I believe it has cooled down by now. But ehhh, not interested in joining and justify my ship...I just want to ship my canon ship in peace. Do you still call it a ship after it becomes canon?
I'm also soooo HYPED over Naruto the Last movie!
Give me more Naruhina moment! Feed me MOARRRR!!!

glad to see I'm not the only one who was glad that it wasn't an open ending, I hate those so much cause it means that the characters pretty much went nowhere through out the story and that seems just disrespectful towards the people who were very into them.

Oh - My - God! You have no idea how mad ''open'' endings, makes me. You follow a series for like 300+ chapters and then it just end, with nothing being resolved. How many times have I not been flipping tables or feeling incredibly unsatisfied by those endings. The only time ''open'' endings are an acceptance is, if it was a gag series with really no goal/plot to achieve whatsoever, but was just there for cheep laughs and mindless entertainment.
Just give me a damn ending, I don't care if the character died, okay, maybe I would've been pissed but at least you've got an ending.
