This was drawn months ago, but I never found the time to put it all together until just now. Here's the 3rd part of my tutorials for the side view.Kinda rushed it since I have at least 5 other projects to get done...but if there's a way I can fix this or elaborate on things a little more, let me know.

Honestly, side-views are one of my biggest challenges and this helps so much! I just put it into effect and his face no longer looks like crap ;v;

well it was the raven by edgar allen poe o.o i was to lazy to read so i only read halfway :l but it such an depressing poem D:. I think the theme of it is "the only things you can fear is fear itself." I'll post it up when i'm finished >w<

Ohhh, I love the Raven! It's actually a really good poem if you can get past the complex terms and such Poe tends to use. From what I gather, it's about a man who has started to lose his mind over the loss of his loved one, Lenore. (read the whole thing, really)

I believe near the bottom there is a part that is very similar to what you're asking. I wrote "looking back" in the tutorial, but essentially that is looking to the side, since you can only look so far back before straining your eyes anyways.
