The title pretty much sums it up, except it's less of hate and more like DREAD! ( I seriously thought there would be a point in my life where I would stop making these things, but it managed to drag me back in.And no, I am not making "Dinky getting called Lionheart" thing up. It's getting to the point where I purposely make my cats so silly and awkward looking that they couldn't possibly fit in the Warriors universe ( Bearded She Cat, Male Cat who looks female, Cat with Bowtie Marking)...but even that doesn't stop it.
(That isn't the reason I made Dinky the way she is though, nor Mistletoe.)
All I have to say- is that I feel sorry for anyone who wants to make a story about cats because this is something that you are constantly going to have to deal with, ESPECIALLY on Youtube. But if I learned anything by reading the comment section on Non-cat youtube series- your characters don't even have to be cats for comparisons to this book series to be thrown around ( a lot of comparisons either make no sense or are such common tropes there is no point in even mentioning it.) But to be fair....
Nah, I am not going to be fair- it's annoying. Getting your characters constantly compared to something else is annoying. ( Looking at you, Balto Fandom) It's annoying enough for me to even make this- and I feel ashamed for making this. lol
If you are going to compare Dinky to any other character, G3 Rainbow Dash would be more accurate.
In other news, drawing Dinky with an expression other than smiling feels SUPER WEIRD!

Perhaps you are right about too many warriors oc. But one thing that is getting annoying is ALL THE GODDAMN DOG CHARACTERS! Dogs, dogs, wolves, same dogs. Boring! Same for warriors. I want to see more unique oc's (I mean, I know I shouldn't be saying this, since I am as unoriginal as everyone else, since y'know I have a Rick and Morty oc)

I didn't say anything remotely close to that.
I don't care about people making Warrior OCs ( or dogs for that matter). I just find it annoying when people think my cat OCs have anything to do with that universe when it doesn't.

I joined the animation fandom because of Warriors, but that's as far as it goes. There are tons of Warrior OC's, but I understand that not everyone is into that crap. Just draw whatever you want to draw, imagine, live!

I myself have tons of Cat OCs, but in no way shape or form are they related to Warriors.
But you have no idea how many people have looked at my drawings (sketches) and said: "HEY ISH DAT FREM WARIROS?!"
I like the series and all, but the world doesn't revolve around it. Irritated sigh

I'm absolutely SICK of people saying "OMG WHICH WARREEUR CAT IS THAT?!?! IS THAT FIYURSTAR?!" whenever I draw one of my cat characters. No, it's not a warrior cat. It's a regular cat. I don't understand why people can't tell the difference between a warriors OC and a regular cat. Pretty much the ONLY reason (besides the fact that I want them to look distinctive) I add accessories to my characters is because I'm afraid that people might excuse them for Warriors or OMG WOLFS!!!1 IS THAT 1 FROM BALTO I LUV THAT MOOVIE!!1

THIS. SENTENCE. God DAMMIT people. Seeing how much of a problem this seems to be for those who draw cats, I guess I should feel especially lucky that I'm not really a cat artist, huhuh. Time to run an experiment

The Warriors fandom has become somehow toxic now that I'm older. I've come across members of the fandom calling characters like Scourge or [insert any other male feline from the books] sexy and I'm just like but -- but they're cats. They're literal cats.
I don't know. People are nuts.

Let people ship who they want to. I ship Tallstar x Jake, but I dare not say I disagree with anyone else's ship. I don't want to wake up one morning to hundreds of harassments and death threats and "OmG KYs! U suk! IT'S My PorN stroy don't like don't reed!1!1!1!1!!!". I don't need that.

Every cat picture I see has the "Featured in Collections: warrior cats, Warriors, Warrior Cats", even though the artist states it's not even warrior cats related.
I never dealt with this particular fandom, but people got my species mixed up with Na'vi a lot.

Sadly I never even look at cat comics on DA pretty much for this reason. So many of them are Warrior comics. And if they aren't, I may never know (although a lot certainly seemed to be inspired by Warriors). Maybe there's the most fantastic comic out there and it's with cats. I will never know D=

After I received this comment, I decided to go look at some various cat comics and aside from one- all of them I came across were warriors or heavily based off warriors. Like you said, there could be more but I haven't came across them yet.
That could contribute to why so many people think if you draw a cat it HAS to be Warriors related, but that is still no excuse nor does it make it any less annoying.

Even if they aren't strictly Warriors fancomics, you can tell when the artist was heavily inspired by those books! I hate it when cat comics not even related to the series call humans twolegs and housecats kittypets now.

I don't think it's a Warrior if it has a human name and, most of all, wings.
Because apparently, every realistic-colored cat OC that has wings obviously comes from StarClan!

One time I drew one of my characters (who is a brown anthro bat/rabbit thing) wearing a spiked collar and someone sat next to me and said "OMG is that Scourge from Warriors?!" Just because it had a spiked collar. And it didn't even look remotely catlike. XD
Everything = Warriors.

Oh god, the spiked collar thing is just ridiculous. It's like Scourge is the only character in the world allowed to have a spiked collar or something- I even seen someone said their BORDER COLLIE character was accused of ripping of Scourge somehow. Don't even get me started if your character had a awful childhood with abusive family members.
