Right... so this is Death. His head anywayI'm going to try and create a comic based around this guy and his buddy Taxes (stay with me now).
The reason I'm doing this is because my friend Shane (Deviantart profile oracle200 *wink*) was complaining about how he's the only person who can draw well in our group of friends. I'm out to prove him wrong (plus this sounded like a good idea).
Okay, I'm not a master of drawing (nor am I very good), but this is still worth it. I hope to have some comics up soon.

I see you got the side view figured out. It looks really good.
And please, by all means prove me wrong! I really liked this idea and just never had the inspiration or motivation to follow through on it.
How come that came out so dark when you scanned it? I had to draw everything in black pen to even get it to show up.

Just think of it this way Shane: It appears that I draw well enough to pass for a comic that probably won't be viewed bay anyone outside our circle of friends. Plus, this is one less thing for you to do!

You don't know who will read it. You only need marginal artistic ability to be able to write good comics. Look at OotS, for example.
