Description
Series: Neverwinter Nights 2 (Forgotten Realms)Media: Purple drafting pencils, pens, Flash, PS, PSP 8
Time: 5-7 hours?
Characters: Daivik, Neeshka, Sand, Khelgar, Gann
Had to draw this after beating MotB... There needs to be more NWN2 fan art on here...
Anyway, I know you technically can't "romance" Neeshka, but if you ask me, treat her nicely as a male PC and she acts more romantically (albeit in a very possessive way) than Elanee does -- or, as likes to call her, "creepy stalker lady"
*SPOILER*
Set after Betrayer ends, with Daivik (my Aasamar sorcerer PC - the dude blushing) removes the spirit eater curse, allowing Daivik to eventually return home to Crossroad Keep, Gann in tow. This is how I interpret things happening when he gets back... Except Daeghun should be there too, now that I think about it. Ah well.
Background painted in Photoshop using this tutorial as a guide.
Yeah, I dunno what's with me and the sudden burst of fan art... Probably won't last long. I need to get back on the vampire portraits... But first I have a ton of school art projects to get back to. @_@;;;

Very nice Always wanted a closing sort of scene at the end of mask of the betrayer. they only really say that you go back to to the keep but they ended it at that. understandable. just wanted a closing conversation
*possible spoiler*
How many people actually made it out of Meredelain anyways? I don't think many did.

Hm... Trying to remember... I did replay it about a month or two back. Aside from a loyal Nishka, Kelgar survives. It's vague about whether Sand dies or not, but it's implied that he could've. (I don't know about Qara; she always betrays me because Sand's loyalty is always higher in my plays). Elanee lives if she left you for the druids, otherwise she dies protecting you. As far Zhjaeve is vague too, but also implied she probably managed to get out. I think everyone else dies no matter what, as I recall.

yeah Every play through after the first one I found myself in a struggle of who I didn't want to betray me, Qara or Sand... because though annoying at times I liked both characters. Qara for her smart ass remarks and Sand for his general knowledge and (sort of) niceness.
I'm not certain on who survives but I think Qara dies no matter what. If she doesn't betray she gets crushed. Sand they don't mention. Grobnar dies shielding the construct I believe... Bishop, i hated so I didn't really care.. but you find out what happens to him. Zhjaeve is a complete mystery on what happens to her but I'm certain she didn't die. Cassavir I think dies holding a door frame up for everyone to get through I think.
Actually I think the only ones who make it are: Kelgar, Neeshka, possibly Sand and Zhjaeve (though she just vanishes to who knows where) and Ammon Jerro
Don't know really I think they mention what happens in Mask of the Betrayer.

While I would've preferred no one betray me, I don't mind that it's Qara. Not particularly fond of her; her wit could be funny at times, but I find her very arrogant and haughty and it didn't win her many points with me.
It is mentioned in MotB if you revive Ammon Jerro at the Red Wizard academy and ask him about the fate of your other companions.
I think Khelgar gets mentioned in the epilogue if you return to Neverwinter. So does Neeshka if she survived.

Yeah, though the choice between Qara and Sand is a tough one for me. They both help out quite a bit.

Ah man this brings me back to my play through, truely was a great game.
I was disappointed in the lack of a romance option with Neeshka to, so I went forth and actually found a really good mod that includes a 'romance scene.' It also includes like flirt options that can be very hilarious. The scene itself though was very elaborate and well done, they even included voice actors with it! I'd link you it but I can't remember the website, google search Neverwinter Nights 2 Neeshka Romance Mod and you should get it though.

There's a full romance mod in the works by the Gibberlings 3 community; I'm holding out for that one, if it gets finished.

Nice art and coloring, and I believe Neeshka can be sensitive and loving, if shown the affection she seems to have lacked in her life
I actually downloaded a romance-hackpack to see if I'll get married to Neeshka in MotB (I'm replaying the ending right now).

Thanks. She does show a certain... Possessiveness... for male KCs that are good to her. xD
I know of the flirt pack, but there's also a full-blown romance mod in the works, so I'm waiting on that to be finished before I replay my Aasimar again.

I remember reading somewhere Neeshka (along with Bishop) were going to be romanceable but it got the chop (They did yet ANOTHER bloody elf? What is that, number six? At least she wasn't blonde this time...)
Still, on the bright side... well. Skip this next bit if you don't want spoiling!
-----------------
Still here? Right, you were warned.
Both the romanceable characters from NWN2 die, presumably to remove any issues you might get returning home with either of the MoTB romanceables. Since (depending on dialogue choices) Neeshka survives she almost certainly would have got the chop (Or the 10 tonne rock slab) if she had been romanceable.

Yeah, I heard about that somewhere too. Not sure if it's true or not. I don't mind elf romances, but they are getting very overdone... And I just didn't care for Elanee much at all.
See, that's what I always figured after knowing all the romancables die by MoTB -- except for Elanee if she left you before the final battles. It was weird -- I didn't romance her, but I had the influence to keep her with me, but since she was with me for the King of Shadows fight, the game assumed I romanced her. Oh well, I don't really care if she lives or dies. XD
In any case, I suppose it's somewhat of a good thing Neeshka wasn't officially romanaceable, huh?

Hey, there is a mod somewhere make Bishop, Elanee, Qara, and Neeshka romanceable. It won't effect the overall plot. Do you know about it?

TheDalishRanger In reply to tankgirly [2010-01-12 16:09:11 +0000 UTC]
Yes, I do actually. The Neeshka one isn't complete though; there's a flirtpack for her, but the actual romance one is still in the works.

Humph...you know, she reminds me of Mission Vao in KOTOR (other than dear Mission wouldn't turn into a devil). Perhaps Neeshka is like Mission...a young teenager in NWN series.

TheDalishRanger In reply to tankgirly [2010-01-12 20:44:16 +0000 UTC]
I can see a bit of a resemblance, yes. Neeshka's less concerned about a strong moral code, though; not that I'd say she has none, just that she's far more neutral than Mission is, ethically.

Probably because they all evolved from the from the same engine to start with. Some pose even look the same. I had this weird feeling for the whole time I was playing ME, DAO, and NWN2. They are so many similar pose and facial expression.

There are similarities from the engine, yeah - but I tend to pay attention to the mood of the setting or the differences, so it never bothered me.

Love this. Everyone is looking so emotional here.
And I adore Gann here. He looks like he's already devising a plan to embarrass and humiliate the KC as well as blackmail him into undesirable situations... XDDD
It just reminds me of something Gann says about the mossy rock in Ashenwood when you ask what can be achieved by wandering in one's own dreams...
"Why, truth of course. A greater understanding of oneself. Swimming in one's own dreams often reveals many secrets. For me, of course, I will do what I can to help you by observing your secrets and storing them for my own amusement."
^^ XDD

I already answered that above. XD; It depends on what you tell Jerro you remember about each companion -- essentially, several that didn't betray you lived, but a few died no matter what. I don't want to spoil specifics beyond that here.

What a cute piece! I love the detail you put on the clothin and Gann and Khelgar are just perfect. I was so glad in the game that some of your companions lived. Sand! Sand! You drew Sand! I am an unashamed Sand-fan-girl. My only critique is that Neeshka's chin/jaw seems really strong. I personally would have preferred her with a softer jawline. But that's my own personal preference.

So you finished the expansion pack of NWN2? Do tell me this spoiler: does Sand return in your party? And Bishop? Do they appear at all??
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheDalishRanger In reply to Lun-Sei [2007-10-25 21:53:30 +0000 UTC]
No one from the original campaign actually joins your party, except maybe Ammon Jerro (I say maybe because it depends on what you do); he doesn't have any voiced lines and he's only temporarily in the group. He can tell you the fates of the other companions, though -- his responses depend somewhat how you answer what you remember of each companion. Some died no matter what, others lived/died depending on if they sided with you -- Sand's one of the latter.
Bishop appears, but not in your party, and with a different voice actor (guess they couldn't get the original). His lines/attitude are still very in character, though. I won't say when or where you run into him... It has a lot to do with the main plot, and I'd rather not spoil that here.

TheDalishRanger In reply to Lun-Sei [2007-11-07 21:19:27 +0000 UTC]
Depends on the ending, methinks; I had Daeghun reunite with my Knight Captain along with Khelgar and Neeshka; I think Daeghun finally showed some fatherly affection too -- or so the narrative went. Duncan wasn't mentioned at all...
