Actually I'll probably add a couple more tiny creatures and tighten up the leaves and other details just bit, but it's done enough that we went out to find a scanner yesterday, and I'm setting it aide for now.
At 40+ hours, I'm happy with it, but I might cry if I can't take at least a week off from looking at it every single day.

That is absolutely splendid! A very intriguing visualization of the scene where Alice encounters the talking flowers.
All the natural colours bring out the beauty of nature, and yet the setting in itself is more or less disturbing.
I especially like the design of the tiger-lilies, they're like giant serpents with the tentacles of a squid.

This is magnificent. And creepy as hell. I love those exotic, threatening flower-creatures, particularly the lilies. There's something so alien about them - they evoke squid or prawn or some other sea beastie much more than they do some innocent little flowers...
Also, the attention you gave the leaves just blows me away. I LOVE that texture on the leaves where Alice is sitting.

Love this! The floral old gods style flowers, the eye in the rose, all the little details in the leaves and I've spotted the caterpillar its adorable and the Cheshire cat!
