i've had this wyvern design in mind for a while now, but i wasnt motivated to paint it until i was doodling this weekend. sooooo, yeah. just uploading the line art for now, i'll try to paint it later
i think i killed my "eden" line art...

I would like to know what kind of pen/other instrument you used on this.

i use micron pens, they come in a lot of sizes including some that are quite small and very good for small details like this
if you press too hard like i do they have a tendency to flatten out after a bit, though

Aaaah! That's what I thought you used. I have the Microns too, so I was just wondering if they were the ones used, and yes, your right, they do flatten out if you press to hard (I learned that the hard way with the "Brush" pen). Thank you for commenting back!

they're actually based on the wings of another dragon i drew a while back, inspired by ray finned fish

oh, i love the wavely fish-fins look. i think thats a neat take on winged critters indeed... looks like lionfish spines on its back
