for some reason that made me wonder how they get educated... i mean if da was with aerrow's dad when he was younger than aerrow, and he was already trained as a pilot... when did he go to school...??

I think there is a great deal of home-schooling going on. No doubt there are other schools like the so-called Talon Academy. Piper could have been in a school at one point and I'm sure MC had personal tutors.

As for DA, I'm sure he grew up in close to the same fashion as Aerrow... I'm not quite sure what that is, but I bet it's a bit of picking things up on your own with a touch of mentoring from someone. I think DA is a self-made man. No way is he illiterate.

but it's funny how piper and mc seem overly educated while finn et al... even snipe... probably haven't touched a book in generations... (stork seems normal though)

Finn's not an idiot, he's just street smart and doesn't know a lot of the facts except how to shoot, lie, crack jokes, think on his feet, and be a target. When I'm writing him, I need to remember to give him more credit. He's intelligent... just has the shortcoming of using it for a selfish purpose with not enough wisdom behind it.

SRRY that was from the LJ... people were wondering why MC keeps DA around, if he can't ever win... so he cooks, goes to her tea parties, look sexxy, and makes her laugh... etc etc...
i always thought he'd bake a mean lasagna too... there's something sexy about a man who can bake lasagna...

streetsmart... that's the word for it...! i wrote finn as a borderline con man, just really persuasive... more an observant student of humanity than booky like piper... someone who laughs off problems... yeah he does need more credit... and a little backstory *prays to the Powers That Be* cause sometimes he just comes off as a stupid egoist and i wants to slap him :3
