In the ever continuing adventures of ALEXANDER J DARKBREAKER and his newfound TABLET DRAWING POWERS...my hand slipped and I accidentally the Gravity Falls dumpster.THIS IS ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT
I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY
SERIOUSLY THIS IS LIKE WHAT, DUMPSTER NUMBER FIVE WITHIN THREE MONTHS
AUGH
But yeah, moral of the story: I'm having fun with these art streams, and I'm finally getting the hang of the diferent layers and lines! Also Gravity Falls is literally the best thing I've seen since RWBY and Wakfu and HOLY SHIT YOU NEED TO GO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW GOGOGO
With regards to the picture itself...
A) I am diehard Padippica trash, and even if I wasn't before, AFTER NORTHWEST MANSION NOIR I DEFINITELY AM NOW
B) I am a SUCKER for formal, fancy outfit designs.
C) Bill Cipher is god-tier creepy
D) Both me and Kigu agree that HOLY SHIT WE NEED MORE PACIFICA IN THE MAIN MYSTERY SOLVING TEAM in future episodes
...soooooooooo all that boiled down to me drawing Dipper and Pacifica in their outfits from the newest episode, running from the blue fire and manipulative schemes of Bill.
Or something.
Man for all I know Bill invaded someone else's dreams, maybe one of these two, and the other came in to pull them out of his clutches. Or you know something equally dramatic and ripe with shipping fuel.
Either way this is literally the first time I've done fanart for a current series, and not just some older one I inished and decided to pay tribute to.
I had a BLAST out there on the stream, and a big thank you to all those who attended! You know who you are, AND YOU ALL ROCK! 8D

I see you drew them as adults. Suits me. The show would be less fun if everyone were adults, but it would make shipping the characters slightly less creepy. Eh, whatever. Dipcifica FTW.

The adult versions drawn here kind of give Gravity Falls a sense of 1920s film noir.

Well, that was actually...not entirely planned. An unfortunate side effect of my style is that unless I'm really trying, I have trouble drawing younger characters. The reason they came out looking older here was because I didn't have room to scale their body shapes properly and proportion it right, so they ended up looking a few years older. I figure around 16-17ish years. Unfortunate, and a bit frustrating for me as an artist, but it still looks pretty good.
Regarding the shipping thing, I...kinda take a long term view of it. HELL YES I ship them, but nobody said it had to happen right now. It could just start now, then it develops as they grow older. Kinda like the typical childhood friends route, and then they only actually get it together later on...probably sometime after GF itself ends.
But hey that's just me. ^^
For now, I'll just settle for enjoying drawing it in my style and adding to the GF fandom in my own way. Thanks!

Oh, I see. I can certainly relate to having difficulties drawing people of various ages (only one of the many reasons I quit drawing), but I never said it didn't look good.
I agree with your view of shipping. I've never really been a serious shipper, but I can see the appeal of it. However, shipping kids makes me somewhat uncomfortable. Yes, Dipper and Pacifica would make an adorable couple, but they wouldn't be able to do much as a couple at their current age. Also, Dipper is in Gravity Falls only on his summer vacation, he doesn't actually live there, and long distance relationships almost never work. It's like you said, they could only really get together later on. Oh yeah, and first they all have to survive the apocalypse in the next episode. That'll be fun.

Yup, I hit GF officially about a month ago, maybe two.
And holy HELL has it blown me away. I haven't followed ANYTHING western animated for YEARS, given that it's been in a bit of a slump from my perspective, plus the visuals of a show are a major selling point for me.
The character art for GF kinda put me off in the few glimpses I had of it. Then my friend who was REALLY into it linked me up and sat down to stream it with me. And it literally just ROCKED MY FACE OFF.
The atmosphere, the environment, the voice acting, and the MYSTERY!
I've NEVER seen anything like this, and god help me if it isn't as addicting as RWBY.
Also, reagarding GF, I STRONGLY recommend you catch up on Season 2 posthaste. IT MAKES SEASON 1 LOOK LIKE A BLOODY WARMUP. Bill returns with a VENGEANCE, and we actually get a lot of important information revealed. SO yeah...it is REALLY good.

Sweet and yeah I agree withΒ is that our animation isn't the greatest.Β Though the first thing that got me involved was the mystery then everything else. Wait he... great the triangle of suffering is back with a vengeance this should be fun.
Oh before I forget, I must thank you for being a huge inspiration for ideas to my world and characters and giving my an idea for my character to fight since he has become INCREDIBLELY powerful so thank you!

You're very welcome! Though uh, generally when making characters, it's a better idea to come up with their story first, and enemies BEFORE you start cranking up the power.
Otherwise you end up in situations like this.
