Ex Matt has finally arrived in my terrible coloring. If EBF had a console gaming system, the EX form might actually be put in play or not.
Over all design: This wasnt even going to be Matt just some random character really. It became Matt when I noticed how I styled the hair. The eyes.... should have changed the opacity better. The sword is supposed to be Heaven's Gate but upgraded, so now it looks like either a huge ass katana or a claymore.... which I was trying to do. The symbols... represent every elemental rune thingy I remembered Matt using.
EX: Matt would be able to use an upgraded Heaven's Gate and powerful rune magic, yet he wont take it seriously... well cause hes Matt. Figuring out his new abilities, Matt is faster and his prowess in swords and magic expand.

Hello~! I must say, I like the idea behind this drawing. The character in the front with sort of a mirror image of him in the background to give you a c learer view of his face is a good idea. The weapon looks very impressive and snazzy. The design is original for the most part.
The shading seems to just be an outline, maybe you could study more on shading? I recommend DaVinci, he has very good notes on shading. I'm still studying on DaVinci myself.
The proportions are realistic, the anatomy makes sense, but you should make the shoulders a little broader, and if you make the shoulders broader, make the hips wider too. You are very good at appendages, such as legs and arms. Keep up the great work!
