I think the original image whas like this.. to be honest, I didn't pay much attention to the necklace, just wanted to do a cool stone, like Jasmine's one.. and turned out like this.
We can invent a story if you want, maybe say it's an indian thalisman that passed through generation to generation, protecting the women of the family and making them guardians of nature..

she is way more of a princess than mulan...not that this was being debated, and I totally agree that she is a really beautiful princess...shes got such a strong character...LOVE HER!! BTW your art is pretty awesome!!

The river kind of looks more like blood. Perfect for a gothic look. I agree with you. She IS a princess. I'm kind of doing a disney princess collection myself. Only i'm switching around the colors of their hair and dresses etc. Lol. Ypi can check it out it you want to.
