Description
Explanation time!Anyone who has seen "Fantasia" will know of the final sequence, "A Night on Bald Mountain". I was three years old the first time I watched it, and although I loved the rest of the movie, Chernabog (the big devil guy) scared the fucking SHIT out of me. Even though I watched "Fantasia" a lot, I always stopped the tape before that sequence, because I was too scared. I tried watching it with my brother when I was twelve, but I chickened out. Then, this past August, I told to FORCE me to watch it, which he did. I was astonished. The sequence was amazing, both in visuals and music, and I was ashamed of myself for ever being scared of it. After a couple more watchings, it became my favorite sequence. Ironic, no?
Then, two days ago, I was watching it again. And every time Chernabog (who used to haunt my nightmares) came on screen, I found myself VERY turned on.
I fucking hate my brain.
Keisha is me.
Fantasia belongs to Disney.

Great humour! It's istant fav!
The "Night on the Bald Mountain" is my favourite scene of Fantasia, and I loved it even at age of 3. Though, I was never scared of it. But I was quite a eerie child.

It's funny how characters who used to scare us as kids become VERY attractive to us when we're older.

I never had a problem with him... I loved the dinos, the greek myth parts, the pegasi, the line (if anybody knows what that part is called TELL ME) and Night on Bald Mountain... didn't feel too crazy bout the ballet of the crocks, hippos and birds, or the nutcracker with flowers... the rest of it was neutral.

Oh, he was INDEED scary, and being brought up by my catholic grandmother didn't help much either.
I was also quite scared of Nightmare Before Christmas at that tender age.

I think I used to be afraid of Chernabog too though I didnt have any dreams about him. However I had a couple of dreams about The Cave Of Wonders from Aladdin back then and I think I had three dreams about Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas, which freaked the living hell out of me!

I find nothing wrong with you liking Chernabog (big evil guy) that way. After all, there's a guy on this sight who draws giant snake girls who swallow people whole. And if you read the stories, He REALLY likes the swallowing bit. Way many details.
And there should be a LIFE SIZED statue of him.

I LOVE Hexxus! Even when I was kid, I loved him. Weird, huh? I think it was Tim Curry's voice that made me love him. And that kick-ass song of his.

Not really related to your picture, but rather your comments. ET use to scare me a lot, I don't know why. And I remember that dude in Fantasia. I don't think I was scared of him, but it's so weird that even so young I just knew by his appearance that he was a bad fellow.
It's strange like that.
And now whenever I think about that part I think of Kingdom Hearts, even if that game annoys me...

Chernabog freaked me out, too. We could form a club of people who used to be freaked out by Chernabog as a kid and now find him really cool (he's part of the insane all-villain Disney waterglobe I bought in the park in 2005).
As for you finding him hot... hey, I write MPreg. I have no right to judge.

I think Chernabog's designed to freak people out. I mean, really, his animation is spectacular. Especially his hands. They're so life-like, it's scary. (I want that waterglobe)
Yes, but you have legitimate reasons for your MPreg. I have NO REASON to find this guy hot. Except maybe the aforementioned hands. They're pretty. And they have amazing dexterity and texture and I AM STOPPING. RIGHT. NOW. *dumps water on head*

For using it in my fics? Sure. For liking it?
I mean, for really liking it?
Makes no freaking sense.
