Personality:
~Cocky:
Emile most definitely has confidence in himself. Having an aura around him that oozes cocksureness, he likes being the center of attention in battle, taunting his foes with snarky remarks and casual quips. He has quite a good time while doing so!
~Loyal:
Emile can be very loyal and trusting to those he deems worthy of his loyalty and trust. He wouldn't sell his allies out even if his life depended on it, and has faith in his friends and allies that they will do their best. That said, he does NOT take it well when he is betrayed himself.
~Funny:
If there's one thing Emile is known for, it's that he's a great comedian. He can come up with all sorts of puns and jokes to make people laugh, and really likes it when he can make people smile. "Laughter is the best medicine" according to him.
~Compassionate:
Emile can be very warm and loving to his friends and loved ones. If he sees a friend who is bummed out, he'll try his best to comfort them and make them feel better. He can also offer a shoulder to cry on for those who need it most, and will stay by someone's side if they want.
~Mature:
While he can be seemingly crass and annoying sometimes, Emile is capable of being serious and mature when the situation calls for it. Indeed, he'll immediately lose his usual humor and snark and turn serious when deemed appropriate.
~Secretive:
In spite of his confidence and friendliness, there are some things Emile would rather not say to others. Unless he trusts them completely, he will refuse to elaborate on things he wouldn't want to talk about, and if pressed about it enough times, will get angry and either just leave the conversation or politely tell whoever's talking to him to knock it off.
Overview of History:
Emile was born in Cloudy Cliff Zone, a perpetually raining area in the Aligned Providence. There, he was raised by his loving family, consisting of his workaholic and sweet mother Gloria; compassionate and hardy strongman father Keith; and reserved but loving older brother Jamie. Both brothers were two peas in a pod despite their contrasting personalities - while Emile was the boisterous and funny one, Jamie was the more intellectual and reserved part of the pair. While they sometimes had disagreements, they never raised their voices at each other or got physical, much to their parents' relief.
The Eastbrook family's life following Emile's birth was fairly uneventful - Emile passed grade school with good grades, and was on his way to getting a job, a car, and hopefully a person to call his girlfriend. He also had the support of his brother, who was a car mechanic in his spare time and always had time to teach his little brother about the inner workings of vehicles like minivans and sports cars. Emile was very interested in such a thing, and paid rapt attention to his brother's speeches and explanations, rarely interrupting. As he was transitioning into adulthood, Emile thought his life couldn't get any better than this.
Unfortunately, that all changed when the aliens began their invasion. Emile, at the age of 20, had woken up to see his mother urging him to wake up, get dressed, and follow her somewhere. Emile, in a groggy manner, asked her to slow down and tell her what's wrong, but Gloria continues to fret and tells him to hurry up before dashing out of his room. Outside the house, he hears alarm sirens and an announcement from loudspeakers set up over the neighborhood: "Citizens of the Aligned Providence, this is your Queen speaking. Invaders are at our doorstep, and they do not come in peace. Those of you who are not in the armed forces, pack whatever you can and hurry to safety, and hide until the crisis is over. The rest of you, get yourselves to your stations and prepare for the inevitable attack. Please do not dawdle, I do not wish to have unnecessary civilian casualties."
That gets Emile to literally jump out of his bed and get himself ready, quickly showering, drying off, then getting dressed and hurrying to meet his family in the living room. Emile asks what's going on, and his parents repeat what he had heard over the loudspeaker while telling him that his training - the courses he was taking where he was going to be taught in both hand-to-hand combat, sword combat, and long-range fighting with guns to defend himself - will have to be accelerated while they go into hiding. Emile balks at this, saying that he could help fight the invaders with what he's got now, but Jamie cuts in and says that by doing so, he's likely to just get himself killed. Much as Emile wants to object, he concedes that Jamie has a point, and decides to follow his family to an underground shelter that will be safe from the alien attack.
Emile spent three years underground, completing his training and getting ready to participate in the fight for real. During that time, Jamie was out on the field, serving as a logistics assistant for the military there. With his help, the Aligned Providence's military was able to stave off the brunt of the invasion, and keep their home from falling apart right away. Eventually, however, over the years it became apparent that this defense was falling apart itself, and the aliens were coming dangerously close to the capital. As well, during this time, Jamie had suddenly disappeared, last seen trying to take back some alien tech to study while part of an elite squad. Emile is left worrying about his brother, and this is enough to make him join the fight for real.
Over the course of a few months, the Aligned Providence are locked in a stalemate with the aliens, and it becomes clear that the former are steadily losing ground, even with all the best weapons and men that they have. While Emile knows this, he tries to stay faithful and hopes that the war ends so that everything can return to normal, and that he can see his brother again. However, this idea gets shattered when he finally encounters his brother for the first time in months - and Jamie looks and acts almost the opposite of how he was before. Whereas he was once stoic and loving, Jamie was now angry and looking to pick a fight a lot of the time, which worried Emile like nobody's business. He managed to tolerate it, attributing it to battlefield stress like a couple other people were suffering.
Unfortunately, it isn't battlefield stress. Rather, it's revealed to be a form of mind control by the aliens, and Jamie's one of their victims. Emile finds this out firsthand when a disagreement between the brothers escalates into a full-blown fight, one that Emile doesn't want to partake in. Yet, Jamie keeps trying to hurt him, throwing punches and trying to claw at his face, and Emile is forced to defend himself what's closest at hand - his sword. At first, he attempts to make Jamie back off by waving it around, and repeats that he doesn't want to hurt his own brother. However, Jamie ignores him and attempts to circumvent Emile's defense by trying to stab at him with a smaller blade. In the chaos, Emile doesn't pay attention to where his blade goes, and, while trying to deflect Jamie's blade swipe, manages to go too far and impale his brother with his sword.
"...oh, fuck, oh FUCK NO!" Emile cries as blood starts to immediately pour from Jamie's abdomen, while his brother starts to falter and drops his blade. Emile is horrified as he catches his brother, feeling him go limp in his arms. "Bro, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it! I'm sorry!!!" Emile says profusely, feeling tears threaten to escape his eyes.
Jamie just looks at him, and for once, he smiles softly at his brother, before starting to pull the sword out. Emile looks at this and asks what the hell he thinks he's doing, prompting Jamie to answer that "I can die free... I'm sorry, my brother..." Jamie's hands are stained red from the blade cutting into them, before he manages to get it all the way out - and prompting more blood to gush out of his abdomen. Emile looks at Jamie and tells him to hold on, before looking up and yelling for help, as loud as he can. He holds his brother's rapidly expiring body close, blood on his hands as he tearfully keeps crying out for someone, anyone, to come help him.
That night, Jamie was declared officially dead. Emile was confronted by his superiors and was threatened with being arrested for murder, but a friend of Emile's cuts in and points out how he's clearly upset and shocked, and that with the aliens still attacking, arresting him would be pointless at best and detrimental at worst. His superiors back off, allowing Jamie's body to be carted away on a stretcher while Emile's ally tried to help him calm down.
Emile's still shaking and sobbing by the time Jamie's taken away, and his friend hugs him and tell's him it'll be okay. Emile shakes his head and repeats one sentence over and over again: "My fault, my fault, my fault..."
Many days later, after giving Jamie a proper funeral and burial, the aliens appear to have almost completely eradicated the Aligned Providence. Emile is in despair, because it means despite their best efforts, they're all going to die anyway. His friend from earlier approaches him and tells him that, even though the invaders have won this battle, they haven't won the war. She then puts a small locket in his hand and tells him to get himself out of here to somewhere safe while she and the rest go out fighting. Emile objects, saying he should fight alongside his brethren, but she insists, telling that if at least one person can get away from the slaughter, then their sacrifice will not be in vain. She then shoves him out the door before he can say anything else, and locks it, prompting him to sigh and get going as she says.
Emile eventually makes his way out of the city and into the wild, moving south so as to hopefully get to a region that hasn't been ravaged yet. As he still has his guns and sword equipped, he's able to fend off anything that gets in his way. But the fact that he had killed his own brother haunted him for what felt like eons, tearing at his mind and eroding his will to continue on...
"Those fuckers are gonna pay for what they've done to you, bro. I swear it."
Recent History:
Aspirations: Emile wishes that someday, Mobius can be returned to normal and no more chaos and destruction will happen. He also desires being able to live past the guilt of killing his own brother, and hoping that he won't succumb to the nightmares that plague him - nightmares that only exacerbate his guilt and lower his morale.

Family(?):
- Keith Eastbrook: His father, an affable, fun-loving man who nevertheless has his heart in the right place. He and his wife Gloria Ackerman went MIA after the event, and Emile has been searching everywhere for them, but so far he hasn't found them yet.
- Gloria Ackerman-Eastbrook: His mother, a quiet workaholic who focused on getting things done above all else, but was sweet otherwise. Like her husband, she has gone missing, and Emile is worried for their safety.
- Jamie Eastbrook: His older brother, a stoic but loving young man who loved his younger sibling dearly. His life was taken by Emile's own hands when Jamie was taken and brainwashed into following the aliens' will, and Emile was left both heartbroken and vengeful after having to kill his own brother.
Mental Strengths:
- High self-esteem and confidence
- Unwillingness to quit
- Able to stay cool-headed in a crisis
Mental Weaknesses:
- Can get very upset at times when he's close to finding his family only to get at another dead end
- Sometimes has nightmares of what happened before
- Doesn't really like talking about what happened a few years ago, and may try to dodge the question or change the subject if asked

Scars or markings: NA
Tail: Long, having a white tip, like his hair.

Attire: A blood-red jacket with long sleeves that go up to his wrists, and takes up his entire torso. A white tank top is underneath the jacket, and he wears jeans, belt, boots, and fingerless gloves, all in black. He also has holsters on his back and pants legs for his sword and pistols respectively.
Combat Info:(In the app, each bubble represents 2 pts, half represents 1)Attack (Atk): A mix of both swordmastery and gunplay gives Emile a balanced style of attack. He can switch from close melee combat with said blade to close to medium-range combat with his pistols, sometimes combining both for cool combos.
-7/10
Defense(Def): Emile's style of defense focuses mostly on evasion, and blocking with his blade when that's not an option. He's a bit of a "Glass Cannon" type - while he can dish out good damage and avoid it most of the time, when he's hit he definitely feels it. This is exacerbated with his lack of powers.
-6/10
Speed (Spd): A good diet and plenty of exercise, as well as training with his blade and guns and learning evasive techniques, have made Emile a runner who can move faster than the average Mobian at 59mph.
-6/10
Intellect (Int): In battle, Emile is quick to assess the situation, and plan accordingly. For example, if there's a few boulders around, he'll either take cover there and fire at the enemy while hiding, or swiftly leap from one boulder to the next to disorient his foe and take them down while they're not paying attention. He'll also cause a distraction by throwing objects past targets to get their attention, or firing his guns and moving elsewhere while they investigate where he once was.
-6/10
Weaponry Skills(Wep): Emile has exceptional skill with his weapons. Many years of training have honed his abilities, and he puts them to good use, performing various combos with his blade and able to aim very well with his guns. He even combines the two to cause an even greater spectacle of damage.
- 7/10
Power (Pwr): He has no powers, only having his guns, sword, and fists to protect himself. As such, he may have to rely on others for protection if he's overwhelmed and can't escape.
-0/10
Physical Strengths:
- Can do fine in somewhat warm settings, but excels in locations with cooler temperatures.
- Can swing his sword with relative ease and speed, and is quick on the draw with his pistols.
- Able to leap, jump and roll relatively quickly to stay ahead of his enemies.
Physical Weaknesses:
- Gets weakened in warmer temperatures. At best, he'll be very uncomfortable, and at worst he can suffer heat exhaustion.
- While relatively strong and fast, he's basically a "glass cannon" - dishing out damage is no problem, but taking it will prove to be one.

Amazing!!! The person who did the picture ("app"?) itself did a very good job!
Also, why haven't you been talking to me lately? I didn't do something to offend you, did I?!
If I did offend you in anyway, I am so sorry.
