he as so much potential but what a waste of backstory and "weak" triggers him? they should never give him a origin story and keep his origins as mystery.

Sonic Headcanon: Zero/InfiniteZero began life in Station Square. His father was never in his life. His Mother, Onyx was a woman with a broken heart. Due to her husband leaving her not too long after Zero’s birth. She cared deeply for her son and did the best she could. They often moved from place to place, as Onyx couldn't hold a steady job. By the time Zero was eight, he was stealing money to attempt to help his mother. Eventually Onyx began stealing as well. Pawning stolen goods for cash. She used some of the money to buy a scarf for Zero on his ninth birthday. When Zero was eleven, Onyx was caught stealing many expensive items. When she refused to turn them in, she bolted into one of the alleys. She hid there for several hours. However, she was found and arrested by police. Once they found out that she had stolen thousands of dollars worth of items, they extended her prison stay. When Zero found out about what happened to his mother, he was shattered. He felt a strong sense of weakness take him over. He ha This is my headcanon for his backstory.

Should have made the Jackal Squad his brothers and sisters, and his obsession with being strong could have come from losing them all, one at a time, which leads to guilt and self hatred so severe that he has to hide behind a mask just to escape himself.
Sure it's too dark and edgy for a Sonic game, but at least it's something. :b

It's edgy, but it works. Last time they went all "Dark and Brooding" was Unleashed. I thought Forces could bring us back to that place, but alas, it didn't.

After Eggman fired him for not being worthy of the ruby he was dropped into a canyon to rot before Shadow and his buddies came, and obvious fight broke out but fourtinly Shadow won( Barley) and called Sonic to let him know they found him so they can punish him for his crimes, after that all teams got to know him more before finally forgiving him for what he has done (Including Shadow ) and made him a new aliy, not only that but a new member of team dark

Remake: his reality bending powers are elemental based, similar to Psycho Mantis, and Volgin in MGSV and he uses his sword for power attacks. Zero is his common name, while Infinite is what he calls his more powerful form.

The difference between the two defeating Sonic, though, is this: while Mephiles did manage to kill Sonic, he was only able to do that with an ambush. Meanwhile, Infinite kicked Sonic’s ass every which way and that, and he did it straight to his face, like a man.
