Grandson of Cesare the Somnambulist from "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari". My all time favorite horror thriller movie.

This one is long over due, especially since Chessare is one my favorite OCs.

This poor boy has had it rough from the start. The Caligari family have always had some control over Chessare's family starting first with his grandfather. Strangely, all the men in his family have sleep-related problems forcing them to rely on a caregiver. Chessare never really knew his parents before they mysteriously died, leaving him in the care of Dr. John Caligari Jr. Caligari was never very kind to Chessare constantly taking advantage of the boy's suffering of narcolepsy for his own science experiments.

Chessare, at the age of 16 was so full of hate towards the doctor that he attempted to kill the man with a large carving knife. The doctor managed to escape his fate and had Chessare committed to mental institution for nearly two years. In this clinic is where he originally met his boyfriend Grayson Fettel for the first time. Grayson had come in for a psychological analysis, but was never locked in the facility.

After Dr. Caligari believed Chessare no longer posed as a threat, he had him released and decided to see how the boy would react in a normal environment surrounded by peers. He enrolled him at Monster High given Chessare's abilities of future vision while he slept and given his family's rather monsterous lineage. At first Chessare hated it, scared and confused and just fed up, he would hurt himself. It was only after his first week of this that he bumped into Grayson in the hallway. Immediately the boy latched onto the familiar friend, and a love even blossomed between the two.

Chessare loves to dance and certainly isn't a fighter. He's scared by almost everything, but because Grayson is almost always with him, he knows he's safe and protected.
