For those who don't know what didapper is check it out by searching it in google. Anyway I just did this quick drawing in between studies as I had an idea for the game where the main character (Suki) encounters vines in the garden within the mages tower.How it would work is that once you free your legs you can gain slightly more leverage to free the rest of your body.
Freeing the gag does the same and both makes it considerable more easier to escape.
If you free your arms it makes it greatly easier to free your mouth and legs but if you miss 4 or 5 times in the arrow minigame then your arms get tied up again.
Fail the minigame in either the gag, arms or legs and more vines will envelope that area of the body making it harder to brake free
If you attempt the brute force you have a chance to escape in 1 go but if you again miss 3 arrows in the minigame then more vines envelope all the areas of Suki making It even harder to escape.
Fail to do it in the time limit and the vines mummify Suki making it near impossible to escape.

Aye, I did try to implement it into the game buuut I can't do even the most basic of coding to fit it in.

could be nicwe it it could be dificulty dependant. of when your arms get bound tighter if you don't do it fast enough.

That would be totally awesome, and you should try and work it in the game. I'm a huge Didnapper fan and I just love playing the game so much.

I did try and work with the game but alas it required me to programme the scenario in and I'm just awful at even the most basic of coding.

I'm serious, this is a perfect replica of the breakout mini game ^^!
I seriously wish they'd make more bondage RPGs like this- outside of two game demos I found on deviantart, I've seen squat On the internet X/....

Cheers ^_^, I was given permission to incorporate this escape system into the game however I had to programme it in myself and I'm pretty terrible at even the most basic of coding haha. soooo it's just remained an image here

When it will be possible to fight his companions in the lair, again?
May be it also would be a nice option in the lair... if you can build trainings-teams out of defeated enemy-types?

Well I would also like to see it in 1.7 however I may have bitten of more than I can chew. I have tried to programme the new system in however it's proving... Difficult since I've never programmed before and I don't really have time to learn it now. Although I may just keep the same programming and replace the original images with my drawn vine ones.

That could work on real need to change the cod just the animation and you could do that with other scenes like maybe a chair tie screne in the 2nd mission in the maids ro

I've made a start on adding the correct commands and what not into the game. Buuut since I know virtually nothing about even the most basic programming it may prove difficult haha. I am making some progress however thanks to Kendrian 's crash course he gave me. I also do need to draw all the other variables that move (such as suki squirming and adding more vines) But hopefully this should be eventually placed into didnapper... Unless I get completely lost haha. Thanks for everyone's support so far though

I like the idea of minigames like this. Makes getting captured a bit less "certain game over"-ish.

I would imagine that since these are living ropes that are actively trying to keep you tied, the overall mechanics would work somewhat differently. For example, I'd imagine there would be a certain drawback after each escape attempt where the progress of each "limb" you haven't gotten lose would drop slightly, since as you try to work your way free, the vines will be working against you. This would of course make focusing on one limb at a time the safest strategy, unless you mess up on the second or third one, casing the vines to grab hold of one of your loose "limbs" again.
I'd also probably propose either a stamina bar or stamina points instead of time points.

Ah slight update, thanks for all the positive feedback, This idea might, MIGHT, actually be put in notion.
however since it's could take a while to just make this escape system for just this moment (will try and incorporate it into other areas, like the enchanted ropes for instance) the developers can't really afford the time to make it (since they are progressing with the story and alternative ideas etc)
Bu I have the software they use on steam and am gonna attempt to make it myself to be moulded into the game. If people are up for the idea that is, the developers seem to like it so far
