Both are men of entertainment who found ways for their creations to feel more “Alive” (Remnant and Egyptian Sorcery)

Both end up in a hopeless situation that ends up with them dying by themselves (an accidental Springlock Failure and Suicide due to not wanting Nazis to discover his secrets)

Even after death, they come back as a rotten corpse and or one of their own Creations (Spring Bonnie and Decapitron)

William has attempted to take over bodies while Andre has succeeded in doing so

Both have trapped people inside of their creations

Both had been sadistic antagonists who murder people to collect substances to make their creations (Andre due to him being revived as a Rotten Corpse with a Rotten Brain)

Both are Animatronic like beings (Springtrap being a Corpse inside of a Spring Bonnie Suit and Decapitron being a Puppet with interchangeable heads)

Both were put down by their families via fire( Micheal Afton burning William and Andre’s own Son burning him alive via him being trapped inside of The Torch Puppet)

Both have came back from fatal injuries

Both have trapped their Wives in their creations (Ballora being implied to be William’s Wife and Andre trapping his Wife’s Soul inside of Leech Woman)

Both seemingly died burnt but in reality survived (William escaping Fazbear Frights and Andre being revived as Decapitron via a Ritual)

Contrast

William had a good life, yet because of his lust for Immortality, he murdered his Family and multiple Children and trapped them in Animatronics, he abused the power for his own gain and did whatever it took to achieve immortality

While André trapped his Friends into The Puppets due to their unjust Deaths from Nazis and him believing that it would be better for his friends to still live on, but after time, he regrets what he did and believed he should have just let them pass
