An old legend from the desert lands tell the story of a masked gunman who protected towns and people from forces beyond the comprehension of man. An outlaw who fought monsters with his two revolvers loaded with silver bullets that can pierce the flesh of even the strongest of the devil's army. But on one faithful night, the outlaw was overpowered by the great evils and was defeated, leaving his remains in the sand far from civilization. That was until his soul shifted into his guns, enchanting them with his own being and giving them sentience and longing for someone to wield them to fight the evil he once took down. The revolvers would fly into the hands of those they deemed worthy, branding the new owners' hands with the mark of the Ghost Revolver and beckoning them to fight with the warrior's spirit inhabiting the tools of justice. This went on for decades, the new outlaw would die and their souls absorbed into the guns and would seek the only one worthy enough to wield them. The legend had also stated that the guns would stop looking for a wielder once the evils of the underworld had ceased coming up to the mortal realm.

Today, the owner of the magic guns is Hank McCormick, a reclusive rancher from Bandera, Texas. The guns flew into his hands and branded his palms with the mark and filled his mind with the memories of past wielders. While dismissive at first, Hank found himself in front of the demons he was now tasked to kill and did exactly that. And much like other Ghost Revolvers before him, he fashioned himself a costume and mostly operated at night or wherever the demons arose. With his sixth sense of supernatural danger, the outlaw rides into the night and hunts evil as the mighty Ghost Revolver!
