Me too! though i didn't read them until i was 10. I agree with your sig. Astrid can get screwed -_- The idea of HiccupxCamicazi, however, is quite appealing...

omg i love them i think they are way cute ^w^.......but hiccups still mine.
I hate snotlout but even he is to good for astrid she can like get eaten by a sea monster or something slow and painful that will lead to her death

P.S.ANTI-ASTRIDS RULE!!!!!!!

I actually liked Astrid as a character when I saw the movie. If Dreamworks does the sequels, I'd love to see what happens if she meets Camicazi in How to Speak Dragonese.

i think Astrid is just a rip off of camicazi according to the book they look similar just the height and some other small things are different and they already have the book wrong i don't know how they could mess it up more but i would like a sequel it would be awesome if hiccup learned how to talk to dragons

Meh, I just treat the books and the movie as their own seprate universes, but still. The movie made loads of money, why not try the sequels? Maybe they'll be more true to those, sort of.

And knowing Dreamworks, they WILL take advantage and milk the series for all it's worth.

So true. *siiigh* <3

Whenever anyone'd ask me what my favorite animal(s) were, I'd say 'birds, tigers, and dragons.'

And then there was that Dragon special on The Discovery Channel some years back and me and my sister were excited out of our minds. We thought 'ZOMG! THEY DID EXIST!!! YESSS!!!' <333

Ack, but it was all hypothetical.

Daaaaaamn you, Discovery Channel~! psh, ruining all my hopes and dreams. rawrgh!

OR they wanted us to think it was hypothetical... hmmmmmmm

I used to do the same thing with the favorite animals! Except I'd be like "Sharks and dragons" which usually got the "So scaly things?" response >.>

"So scaly things?" Wow, that's retarded.

Well... <.< Shark skin is rough, but... it's not really scales, not like reptilian scales... right, right, okay yeah. Sharks are NOT scaly, lol. Sorry, had to reason with myself there for a bit. *rofl*

I know that, you know that... but most people don't even bother. It's a massive case of Did not do the research. Ah well. At least it's entertaining
