Ugh....I can't tell you how many people don't enjoy this movie.Lemme guess this is going to get like 3000 veiws in a day huh
True I am a bit of a fangirl. I do have my own characters and club to help spread awareness of actually plausable and enjoyable characters.
I acknowledge it and I try to be subtle about it. I don't rant or rage about pairings/characters/other....(?)
Anywho please enjoy this.

I never knew this movie gets so much hate. Heck, I have seen very few people who have even heard of this movie, Period! If anything, I think it is not well-known than overly disliked.
By the way, I loved the heck out of 9 too. It was a neat supernatural Robot Apocalypse movie, with awesome enemies to it! That doesn't make me a bad person either.
Kinda makes me think of Chappie in a way, another awesome Robot Movie that has been getting too much hate, when it was really awesome.

lol, I love this movie so much...I really wish that Shane Acker would create a sequel to it, I think it would be cool to get a 2016 look at the world he created

As much as I loved the movie, I don't think it needed a sequel. I mean the ending was pretty definite, Fabrication Machine Brain and its creations were destroyed, the fallen Stitchpunks get to go on to the afterlife, and the remaining ones can finally live a life free of fear of Brain's creations. Don't really see how it could really continue from there.

If I remember correctly, on 1's calendar where he crossed off the numbers of any of the Stitchpunks who were KIA (Or MIA feared Dead), there was a 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 also crossed off on it. Perhaps a prequel could show what exactly happened to those ones, of 10-14?

You see it briefly in the part where 9 comes to 1 and tells him that 2 has been taken by the Cat Beast, thenΒ 1 crosses off 2's number and tells him he's not gonna organize a rescue party to save him, but just let the Cat Beast have him.

As for character development... it isn't wrong to expand Shane's characters in fanfics, and some of the story, too. (even if it is in an AU

I liked the movie.. but I'm glad I never saw it in theaters. I feel spending nearly 15$ on a ticket for a movie barely an hour and a half is a waste of time, really. I just wish it was LONGER. It could of gone so much farther into things and the ending just kinda seems half cop out.
But I did like the characters and the movie -shrugs- just wish it was longer..

Yeah the length usually is the thing people who like and/or dislike notice first. That or the storyline was kinda full of plot holes -w-
